Osagie Imasogie, Senior Managing Partner Phoenix IP Ventures
Nigerian by birth, and educated in the US (JD University of Pennsylvania) and Great Britain (London School of Economics) Mr. Imasogie has over 25 years of experience in the fields of law, finance and business management in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. Prior to co-founding Phoenix IP Ventures he conceptualized and was part of the founding team for GlaxoSmithKline Ventures.
Prior to his tenure at GSK, Mr. Imasogie headed business development for Endo Pharmaceuticals, and served as General Counsel for the $4B+ publicly traded firm. Mr. Imasogie has extensive corporate finance, taxation and intellectual property legal expertise developed as a Corporate Finance Partner at Price Waterhouse and in practice with the law firm Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis.
Mr. Imasogie has been a Senior Consultant to the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). Additionally he sits on the Board of Genaera Corporation and Ception Therapeutics and serves as Chairman of the Board of iCeutica Pharmaceuticals.
